Nancy Kovack
Nancy Kovack, a native from Flint in Michigan, was already in the ranks of a University of Michigan student by 15 years old, and a DJ in the amateur circuit at 16 and a graduate of college at 19. She had won eight beauty contests before the turn of twenty. Then, in New York she began her acting career as one the glea girls of Jackie Gleason, as well as on The Dave Garroway (1953), Today (1952) and Beat the Clock (1951). Kovack's Hollywood professional career started through a role on stage. The actress signed on with Columbia after completing the project. Through the years Kovack was able to accumulate a huge list of TV credits. The actress was also nominated for the Emmy in 1969 for her performance in Mannix. Kovack is famously the wife of Zubin Mehta from the New York Philharmonic. Kovack claims to have been swindled (to around 150 000 dollars) by Susan McDougal who was a pivotal figure in Whitewater. Has appeared five times on the scene comedy Bewitched (1964) Three of her appearances portrayed Darrin Stephens' eccentric former partner Sheila Summers. Her father was an General Motors executive. Today, she lives with her partner Zubin Mehta in Los Angeles, California. She graduated in 1954 from Ann Arbor University of Michigan. Famous for her role as the attractive Indian Medicine Women Nona on Star Trek 2nd season's episode A Private Little War, 1968.
