Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store in Orange California were part of this program hoping to find the cheapest storage units. In the aftermath of their appearance on the television reality show, the couple was successful in increasing the size of their shop. Their "Storage War" appearances led to a spinoff series named 'Brandi & Jerrod The Marriage of a Job, that focused on the couple.
