Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Kellie Martin is most famous for her performance as the main character on the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin, the daughter of a department-store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her professional career acting at the age of seven when her aunt who worked as an nanny for Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin to get her a character in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". When she graduated from Yale University she began to take acting seriously with roles that she was able to land on the smaller screen as well as on the big. Martin, in addition to being an excellent actor and dancer, she is also a skilled ballet photographer. Her sister, who died from Lupus aged 19 led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
